GlobeX Data SA is an innovative Secure Cloud Storage technology group incorporated and based in Geneva Switzerland, with presence in Switzerland, Serbia, the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Canada.
Active in the Secure Cloud Storage service industry, the group built its roots in the global electronic payment world and now provides a line of services to individuals, SMEs, enterprises and governments by providing Secure Cloud Storage solutions storing and archiving electronic data in Switzerland.
GlobeX has two main applications in the Cloud Storage sectors.

Securus is a Swiss Secure Cloud Storage and archiving business desktop and web application serving SMEs, Enterprises and Government Organizations. Securus is applicable to a wide variety of industries such as ICT, financial/insurance services, medical, education, energy, government and other services industries. Securus, through its main brand SecurusVault, is offered as a branded or full white label service to TelCo providers and other ICT players globally.
For the consumer market and micro companies, it offers DigitalSafe.
DigitalSafe is a full mobile and web application that offers users the ability to store an infinite amount of “Notes” which are stored in their “DigitalSafe”. In addition, Notes can be categorized, classified and so forth. Notes are PIN numbers, Passwords, Credit Card information, Financial, Medical, Travel information, Contacts, Logins and Passwords to web sites and so forth. In addition, users can store files, photos or any electronic file into their “Safe” and share them as they wish. “Safe” sizes typically vary between 1GB to 50GB but custom solutions are available for individuals and for resale to organizations such as Telcos and ISPs.
One of the main advantages of Securus and DigitalSafe is that they protect all data against external intrusions from the USA PATRIOT Act, the ATA (Canada) and other such laws, being based entirely in Switzerland with no servers or presence in the USA.

An Entrepreneur since 2000 in IT and e-Commerce, Alain is the founder of the GlobeX group of companies and has taken it from an idea to a leader in secure cloud storage solutions provider. Alain is the key driver to the group's MEA division and is instrumental in all C level partnerships. Alain has raised over 10 million dollars through his valuable network and has recently closed deals with leading TelCos for the resale of the group’s cloud applications. He is also a major shareholder having put a substantial amount of cash and time into the group over the years. Alain spends his time between the group’s hubs of Geneva, Toronto and Dubai in order to oversee the group’s operations in North America, Europe and the MEA regions.
Alain was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal as USA/EU expert in e-commerce and was cited in papers of numerous other publications (USA Today, Bloomberg) and has been the winner of San Francisco Business Times Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001.
Sonja joined GlobeX group in 2007 and has since taken several roles from e-Health application project manager to heading the North American operations of the group. Sonja directs and oversees the organization’s operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. She is responsible for evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures and determining and implementing changes as necessary.
Sonja has over 10 years of experience in healthcare operations management and was part of the team that first launched an EHR in Canada. Sonja is currently obtaining her Master’s Degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus in International Communications and Technology. She will also head the new eHealth related cloud applications the group is planning to launch in 2012.
Henry Sjöman is assisting the Company in establishing target companies for its Securus and DigitalSafe Swiss Cloud Storage Solutions by helping in the business development aspects of the company.
Henry is a technology veteran with over 35 years of experience in the ICT business both in manufacturing and service sectors. Additionally, Mr. Sjöman is an angel investor in several leading edge technology companies.
Claudio served as full-time CTO of GlobeX Data SA from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, He joined Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie, Geneva’s oldest bank and one of Switzerland’s leading private banks, in the function of Engineer in Integration of critical Front and Middle Office applications. Currently, Claudio is working on several leading edge projects with the EPFL.
Having received a PhD from EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland) + engineering degree from the Polytechnic School of Milan (Italy), Claudio has more than 10 years of experience in information security as he participated to several European projects on Digital Rights Management and Intellectual Property Protection. Claudio supported the effort of standardization of the MPEG-4 and 21 working groups (ISO standards) and is author or co-author of publications to several conferences and international journal and he recently published a book on digital rights management.
